It was in the Summer of 2009 when we were starting to come out of the crisis mode, finally having Micah home from the hospital (after being there for 110 days) and proving to be doing well. It's a tough thing to shake, that crisis mode. Trying to take hold of that vision of being a family of the King, loving one another, showing love to other families, worshiping and praying together, encouraging each other in our personal gifts.

I'm not gone, I'm just swamped! I've been mostly working on Wellspring the last few weeks getting the final event details set. I've been designing posters & postcards, writing letters & budgets and a myriad of other things. I wrote the following on the Wellspring blog Wednesday. This gives you a heart for what's been happening at UNCW.

The last few weeks have been a steady pace up- up- up- at UNCW here in Wilmington. As you [should] know, I co-lead a prayer group/student organization called "Campus Wide Prayer". (No, I'm not a student of UNCW but my heart is deeply attached to what the Lord is doing on campus and in the students!) We've been praying weekly since the beginning of the school year focusing on awaking in student's hearts, encounters with Jesus, exalting the Kingdom in the face of humanism and that Isa. 61 justice would be established.

Wellspring is this April 10 in Kenan Auditorium at UNCW. We'll be leading a pre-meeting of worship from 4PM-6PM. Event is free and open to all. Visit http://www.WellspringWilmington.com for lots more info!
